NetworkOcean was established by Sam Mendel and Eric Kim, who have been close friends and collaborators since their days in the 9th-grade robotics club. Sam is a serial entrepreneur who previously created and sold a hiring platform for creators and even developed a floating web server that was launched in the San Francisco Bay. Eric, on the other hand, has extensive technical expertise from Cornell, Merge, and Palantir, specializing in computer vision, large language models, and holding a patent in renewable energy.
